Editing Wikifacta:About (section)

== Corrections and updates ==

Wikifacta welcomes specific, evidence-based correction requests. A useful correction request should identify:

* the page that contains the issue;
* the exact statement that may be inaccurate;
* the proposed correction;
* one or more sources supporting the correction; and
* the requester’s relationship to the subject, if relevant.

Editors may independently review the evidence before making a change. Wikifacta is not required to accept a proposed correction simply because it comes from the subject of an article, a representative, a critic, or another interested party.

Minor spelling, formatting, and grammar errors may be corrected without a detailed public explanation. Significant factual changes should be made carefully and, when appropriate, supported by an updated reference.

Send correction requests to [mailto:info@wikifacta.org info@wikifacta.org] with the page title and the words “Correction Request” in the subject line.
