Hardik Sapra is an Indian software engineer based in Delhi, India. His work is centered on backend engineering, infrastructure automation, distributed systems, application performance, and artificial intelligence-assisted workflows.[1][2] He has held engineering positions at Instahyre, Zopper, and Twisted Mountain Animation. As of October 2026, Sapra describes himself as a senior software engineer at Twisted Mountain Animation, where he works on service deployment, tenant provisioning, notifications, data exports, and related infrastructure.[3] The company's public team page also identifies Hardik Sapra as a senior software developer.[4]

Sapra's publicly described engineering projects include InsureFlow AI, a system for organizing insurance documents and customer records received through WhatsApp; an automated job-application tool; deployment and onboarding infrastructure; and Hashkrap, an Instagram hashtag-research project.[3][5] Many of the quantitative results associated with his work—such as reductions in latency, onboarding time, and document-processing time—come from Sapra's own résumé and portfolio. They are presented in this article as attributed professional claims rather than independently audited measurements.

Early life and education

[edit | edit source]

Publicly available professional profiles place Sapra in Delhi, India, but do not reliably provide his date or place of birth.[5][2] To avoid confusing him with other professionals who have the same name, biographical details not supported by his official profiles or a reliable organizational source are omitted.

Sapra studied computer science at SRM University between August 2018 and July 2022. According to his résumé, he completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science with a grade-point average of 8.5.[3] His LinkedIn profile similarly lists SRM University as his place of study from 2018 to 2022.[5] A public SRM University document also contains an entry for a computer-science student named Hardik Sapra, providing institutional corroboration of the university association.[6]

During his studies, Sapra completed several online courses in Python and data handling. His LinkedIn profile lists Coursera credentials titled Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Using Databases with Python, and Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python, issued in 2019.[5] These courses correspond with the Python-oriented backend work that later became prominent in his career.

Career

[edit | edit source]

Instahyre

[edit | edit source]

Sapra began a full-time software-engineering role at Instahyre in July 2022 and remained there until July 2024, according to his official résumé.[3] Instahyre operates a technology-enabled recruitment platform, and Sapra has described his work there as spanning backend development, platform user experience, authentication, search, background processing, and performance improvements.

Sapra states that he led a two-person team during a redesign of the platform's user experience. His portfolio attributes a 25 percent increase in recruiter engagement to the redesign.[2][3] He also reports implementing Security Assertion Markup Language single sign-on in Django, with the aim of simplifying the setup of enterprise accounts. According to his résumé, the change reduced onboarding work by approximately three hours for each account.[3]

Another part of Sapra's work at Instahyre involved search and communications data. He reports building an Elasticsearch-based search facility for more than ten million communication logs, which he says improved the speed of resolving grievances by 20 percent.[3] His résumé additionally credits database-query optimization, caching, pagination, and changes to front-end assets with reducing page-load time by 35 percent. He used Celery and Redis to support parallel background jobs and real-time events.[3] These figures are drawn from Sapra's professional materials and have not been independently audited in the cited public sources.

In July 2023, Instahyre gave Sapra a “Top Performer Award” upon the completion of his first year at the company, according to the honors section of his LinkedIn profile.[5] The recognition is the principal publicly listed professional award associated with his time at Instahyre.

Zopper

[edit | edit source]

In August 2024, Sapra joined Zopper as a software development engineer. He worked there until June 2025, according to his résumé and portfolio.[2][3] His responsibilities focused on insurance technology, including backend services supporting policy-purchase journeys. Sapra states that he designed Django microservices for transaction-sensitive processes and maintained a 200-millisecond p95 response time for those flows.[2]

Sapra's most frequently highlighted result from Zopper is an asserted 55 percent reduction in application-programming-interface latency. He says this was achieved by introducing Redis caching and moving blocking workloads to Celery task queues and Redis Pub/Sub.[1][3] The work reflects an engineering approach based on separating long-running processes from synchronous requests, reducing repetitive data access, and allowing application services to exchange events asynchronously.

His résumé also describes the development of reusable AES-256 field encryption for sensitive customer information. Sapra says this work addressed findings from vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.[3] In the context of insurance applications, such controls are used to limit exposure of personally identifiable and transaction-related data. The public résumé does not identify the affected clients or disclose protected implementation details.

Twisted Mountain Animation

[edit | edit source]

Sapra joined Twisted Mountain Animation in November 2025. His official materials identify his title as senior software engineer, while the company's team page lists him as a senior software developer.[3][4] These descriptions refer to a senior engineering position and are retained as used by the respective sources.

At Twisted Mountain Animation, Sapra has worked on automating the creation of new software tenants. Before the automation, provisioning reportedly required manual coordination across databases, credentials, and several services. Sapra says he automated database setup, placed credential management in HashiCorp Vault, and used Redis-based activation so that new tenants could be enabled without restarting application services.[1] According to his portfolio, the resulting workflow reduced tenant-onboarding time from roughly one hour to less than two minutes.[2]

Sapra also reports architecting a centralized notification service that distributes events among more than five services using WebSockets and Redis.[3] In addition, he built and maintained continuous-integration and continuous-deployment pipelines for more than seven services. The pipelines connect container builds, automated tests, Kubernetes rollouts, and failure reporting, allowing a complete environment to be deployed through a single action.[1]

For large data exports, Sapra says he designed an asynchronous reporting system able to process exports involving more than one million records. The design separates export generation from synchronous application-programming-interface requests and uses Amazon S3 lifecycle policies for stored files.[3] This approach is intended to prevent large reports from tying up web requests and to control the retention of generated data.

Independent projects

[edit | edit source]

InsureFlow AI

[edit | edit source]

InsureFlow AI is an independent project developed by Sapra between May and August 2026. He describes it as an artificial intelligence-powered customer-relationship-management workflow for insurance advisers who receive client documents through WhatsApp.[3] The system is designed to extract more than 20 know-your-customer and policy fields, associate documents with the correct customer, organize the files, and identify renewals, outstanding payments, missing documents, and follow-up tasks.[1]

According to Sapra, the project grew from observing that insurance advisers were manually opening incoming messages, reading policy or identity documents, copying information, filing attachments, and maintaining separate follow-up records. His portfolio says InsureFlow AI reduced a routine servicing process from approximately 45 minutes to about two minutes.[1] On his consulting page, Sapra describes a related production architecture involving adaptive optical character recognition, locally run language models, deterministic schema validation, and confidence scoring.[7] The stated timing improvement and system performance are self-reported.

LinkedIn Auto Apply Agent

[edit | edit source]

Between March and November 2025, Sapra developed what he calls a LinkedIn Auto Apply Agent. The tool used large language models and structured extraction to rank job listings by their fit with a candidate's profile.[3] It matched application questions with saved answers, adapted those answers to the context of a vacancy, and prompted the user when required information was missing. Sapra reports that the system reduced the time required to submit applications by 70 percent.[3] The project is presented in his résumé as an example of using language-model workflows to reduce repetitive administrative tasks.

Hashkrap

[edit | edit source]

Sapra's LinkedIn profile lists Hashkrap as a project begun in March 2020.[5] The project was described as a research tool for Instagram hashtags. A user could enter a keyword and inspect related hashtags together with metrics such as post counts and the average, minimum, and maximum numbers of likes and comments. Its stated purpose was to give social-media users more evidence when selecting hashtags instead of relying only on automatically suggested terms.[5]

Engineering interests and methods

[edit | edit source]

Sapra describes his central professional interest as turning manual or slow workflows into useful software.[1] His projects typically combine application logic with operational infrastructure: databases store structured records; credential systems limit access; task queues move lengthy work outside user-facing requests; messaging systems distribute events; and deployment pipelines automate the path from source code to running services.

His publicly listed core technologies include Python, Django, REST, GraphQL, Celery, Redis, WebSockets, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Amazon S3.[3] In artificial intelligence work, his résumé lists the OpenAI application-programming interfaces, structured extraction, evaluation of large language models, and agentic workflows. His consulting materials additionally mention FastAPI, Go, Node.js, PaddleOCR, Qwen models, and llama.cpp.[7]

Across his portfolio, Sapra emphasizes measurable changes to operating time and response latency. Examples include reducing tenant setup from about an hour to under two minutes, lowering API latency by a claimed 55 percent, accelerating a document-handling workflow from about 45 minutes to two minutes, and decreasing job-application time by a claimed 70 percent.[1][3] Because these figures appear primarily in first-party materials, they should be understood as Sapra's accounts of the projects rather than independent benchmark results.

Sapra also offers fixed-scope engineering consulting focused on document extraction, workflow automation, and backend performance. His consulting materials describe short technical engagements that begin with an architecture review and proceed to a defined implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation process.[7] This consulting work uses the same technical areas represented in his employment history, particularly Python web services, relational databases, Redis, background workers, containers, and orchestration.

Public profile

[edit | edit source]

Sapra maintains a personal website containing a biography, portfolio, case studies, résumé, and descriptions of consulting services.[1] His LinkedIn account documents his employment, education, certifications, project history, and professional recognition.[5] A profile on the remote-work platform Himalayas presents a substantially similar work history, education record, and technical skill set, including his employment at Twisted Mountain Animation and degree from SRM University.[8]

The Himalayas profile describes Sapra as a builder of scalable Python systems, asynchronous platforms, and artificial intelligence workflow products.[8] It repeats the portfolio's accounts of tenant automation, large asynchronous exports, enterprise single sign-on, communication-log search, and the insurance-document project. While that profile provides another publicly accessible summary, much of its wording and data appears to derive from Sapra's own résumé; it is therefore best treated as corroboration of how he presents his career, not as fully independent verification of each performance metric.
